Summary

LincolnHealth (LH) is a full-service healthcare system that includes a hospital with two campuses: LincolnHealth - Miles Campus in Damariscotta and LincolnHealth - St. Andrews Campus in Boothbay Harbor, as well as two long-term care facilities, retirement communities in both Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta, a 40-member multi-specialty physician practice. The Miles campus includes a 25-bed community hospital.

The Medical Surgical Unit is seeking a per diem CNA to join their team!

  • Position Summary This position is per diem with variable hours.
    • Under the direction of a licensed registered nurse, a CNA may provide hands-on personal care and services which are necessary to maintain a patients health and well being. All care is provided in accordance with the client's individual plan of care, regulatory standards and Lincoln Health policies and procedures.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Graduate of an accredited, state approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
    • License/Certifications: Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Current Maine State driver's license. Current BLS certification.
    • Experience: N/A
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
    • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
    • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
    • Current placement on state's CNA registry.
