Summary

Quarry Hill - Midcoast Maine's premier extended care community for adults 55+, Quarry Hill provides unsurpassed independent, assisted-living, short- and long-term nursing care and specialized memory-loss care is seeking a per diem Mainetenance Staff member to join their team!
  • Position Summary This position is per diem with variable hours.
    • Ensures a safe and secure environment for the residents, staff, visitors and property of CHCC/Anderson Inn in compliance with all Federal and State regulations; responsible for inspecting and reporting equipment failure, security breaks and environmental problems; performs preventive maintenance, minor repairs, housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High School diploma or GED is strongly preferred and/or vocational/technical education.
    • License/Certifications: Must have a Maine Driver's License with no moving violations during the past three (3) years, be insurable and pass a background and security check.
    • Experience: Must have worked in a maintenance position with mechanical, electrical, construction, and/or plumbing duties.
    • Must become familiar with the safe operations of power and hand tools necessary in performing daily tasks, and ask for any additional training necessary.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with other Staff, Residents, and Visitors.
